CORGETT WASH

A Naturalist's Digital Journal by Nicholas Pawley

The purpose of this Web site is to help educate the community and visitors about the plants and animals found in Corgett Wash.
It drains a large area, flowing west from the Estrella Mountains and their foothills at the southwest edge of the valley formed by the Salt and Gila Rivers near Phoenix, Arizona. Without an understanding of the impact of different kinds of human activity, the wash, as a Sonoran desert riparian habitat, will quickly deteriorate.

As other washes are documented and new programs are developed, links to those sites will appear here.
