Current Activities

I have been actively playing guitar for the past 15 years and have performed guitar and violin duets with Bill Engelsman including works by Paganini, Giuliani, Loeillet, Vivaldi, Boccherini.

I am working on a historical collection of pieces for guitar and voice and other instruments. I completed a course in Electronic Music at Glendale Community College and, using the skills gained in this course, I have composed some studies for guitar and one orchestral piece for guitars and orchestral instruments. A CD of this piece is available to students. To keep up to date, I have taken lessons with Maryanne Kremer-Ames, a guitar teacher and performer in the East Valley.

I am a member of the Arizona Music Educators Association.
