Elementary school students and others playing the guitar for the first time begin with three books:

1. A Modern Method for Classical Guitar - Book 1, by Charles Duncan and

2. Pop Classics (same author). (Hal Leonard) Students continue on with

3. The Christopher Parkening Guitar Method - Vol. 1. (Hal Leonard)

Students also receive copies of individual and group pieces and studies composed by the instructor.

I have a fairly extensive library of guitar music and instructional materials including a complete edition of the University of Toronto School of Music guitar curriculum from which to draw when teaching students.
